Microbiology China, founded in 1974, is a peer-reviewed monthly (one volume per year) international journal sponsored jointly by the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Society for Microbiology. It covers a wide range of topics in areas of general and applied microbiology.
