Microbiology China accepts manuscripts with list of references, mentioning
financial support if any, declaration of no plagiarism and no fraudulent data,
and statement that the submitted manuscript is neither published previously
nor the same research is under the process of publication in any other journals.
Author’s responsibilities |
|
All authors have significantly contributed to the research and furnish a
statement that all data in the manuscript are real and authentic. Author(s)
are obliged to participate in peer review process to provide retractions or
corrections of mistakes.
Peer review/responsibility for the reviewers |
|
Any manuscripts for review must be treated as confidential documents.
Evaluation of manuscripts by reviewers should be objective and just. Once
the viewpoint error, intellectual mistakes, serious copy, suspected fake data
are discovered, reviewers should feedback to journal editorial office.
reviewers should give clear opinion if a manuscript reaches the publication
criteria. reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to
articles’ research, the authors and/or the research funders. reviewers should
point out relevant recent published work that is not yet cited by the authors.
Editorial responsibilities |

Editors have the full responsibility and authority to reject/accept a manuscript.
They should have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept.
Manuscripts can only be processed/published when sufficient number of review
reports are received, errors in manuscripts are removed/corrected. Moreover,
editors are responsible for promoting publication, correcting orretracting, and
preserving anonymity of reviewers.
Publishing ethics issues |

Publishing ethics should be monitored/safeguarded by the editorial board,
including providing guidelines for considering retracting, issuing expressions of
concern, and issuing corrections pertaining to articles that have been published in
Microbiology China. Editors should maintain the integrity of the academic record,
preclude business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards,
and always be willing to publish corrections,clarifications, retractions and
apologies when needed.

Submission to Microbiology China implies that all authors have seen and approved the full manuscript. Corresponding authors of accepted papers will be required to sign a License to Publish form on behalf of all authors (see below). To avoid unnecessary delays in the review process, please consider the following policies carefully before submitting your manuscript.

Duplicate publication |
Material submitted to the journal must be original and not published or submitted for publication elsewhere in any language. Authors submitting a manuscript should notify the editor(s) if part of their contribution has appeared or will appear elsewhere, or if any related material is under consideration or in press elsewhere.

Conflicts of interest |
At the point of submission, each author should reveal any financial interests or connections, direct or indirect, or other situations that might raise the question of bias in the work reported or the conclusions, implications, or opinions stated – including pertinent commercial or other sources of funding for the individual author(s) or for the associated department(s) or organization(s), personal relationships, or direct academic competition. When considering whether you should declare a conflicting interest or connection please consider the conflict of interest test: Is there any arrangement that would embarrass you or any of your co-authors if it was to emerge after publication and you had not declared it? As part of the online submission process, corresponding authors are required to confirm whether they or their co-authors have any conflicts of interest to declare, and in the case of an existing conflict of interest that this is fully declared. Authors should also include a Conflict of Interest statement in their submitted manuscript. If the manuscript is published, Conflict of Interest information, including if none was declared, will be communicated in a statement in the published paper. |
