To fully explore the ideological and political elements in Microbiology Course, and give full play to the important role of professional courses in cultivating talents, this paper introduces the design concept and specific cases of ideological and political education in the course of Microbiology, constructs the knowledge of microbiology as the main body with the development of history, celebrity stories, inspirational allusions, daily life as material resources, and integrates professional knowledge and ideological and political education. In addition, we should guide students to set up dialectical thinking, correct students’ scientific attitude of seeking truth and reality, enhance students’ sense of social responsibility, and realize the innovative education mode “all staff education, the whole process education, all-round education”.
