    Abstract:

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are important components of soil microbial community, which have a variety of beneficial effects on plants and soil. In order to further understand this common underground symbiotic microorganism and investigate its effect on sulfur uptake and utilization of plant, we reviewed the latest research progress. In this paper, the molecular regulation mechanism of plant sulfur nutrition improved by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi was emphatically analyzed and the factors influencing the sulfur metabolism of mycorrhizal plant were also summarized. Finally, some problems that still exist in this research direction and the focus of future research were also proposed.
