During the past two years, the reform of ideological and political education in professional courses has attracted wide attention. It is worth thinking about how to integrate general ideological and political education into the specialized courses to achieve the goal of cooperative cultivation. Biochemistry, which is an important basic course in life science, shares remarkable similarities and associations with other courses like Microbiology and Cell Biology. Combined with screened cases, we will introduce the experiences of teaching reform, especially on how to explore recessive ideological and political elements from the specialized knowledges, providing reference for the reform of ideological and political education in other related professional courses.
