    Abstract:

    Microbiology Experiment, based on the Microbiology theory course, helps students converting theoretical knowledge into practical ability. The traditional teaching method adopts the indoctrination teaching mode, so students are in a passive learning state. In order to transform students from passive learning to active learning, Microbiology Experimental teaching is reformed. First, from the analysis of job requirement, students are clear about their learning objectives. Second, to improve the students’ learning initiative, a variety of heuristic teaching methods are being practiced. In addition, the opening of the Microbiology laboratory transforms students from the experiments’ participants into the experiments’ leaders. Microbiology Experimental teaching reform, not only mobilized the enthusiasm of students to learn, but also stimulated the creativity of students, and improved the students’ experimental skills.
