    Abstract:

For the production of recombinant proteins, Escherichia coli is often the first choice because it is easy, fast and inexpensive to cultivate, and its vector systems have been well developed. The regulation system for heterogenic expression plays an important role in producing recombinant proteins. pHsh vectors have been developed by using a heat-shock promoter of E. coli, and give advantages in high expression levels, low costs for expression induction, and reducing the formation of inclusion bodies. This paper introduces the construction strategy, expression mechanism, application of the pHsh vectors.
