Abstract:

A full and accurate review involved microbial prospecting of petroleum and gaseous hydrocarbon-oxidating bacteria, microorganisms and formation of petroleum and gas, production of organic acids, oil field microorganisms and enhancement of oil recovery. Hundred and five papers are quoted.
