This paper introduces some new attempts in innovating microbiology teaching of plant protection specialty from three perspectives, namely, choosing the teaching materials, optimizing the teaching contents and the choice of teaching methods. The exploration is of referential value to building the system of contents and teaching methods in the microbiology course, to enhancing the teaching effect.
