    Abstract:

    Atomic force microscope (AFM) has become a powerful tool for the characterization of bio-samples surfaces. In this paper, the working principles and methods of AFM were explained and the applications of the sample preparation, image analysis, force curve and the dynamic analysis in the biological field were reviewed.
