This article presents several teaching cases in which the author describes how indoctrinate the students with “Scientific inquiry” (observations, question, hypothesis, experiments, theory) when teaching microbiological knowledge. During Microbiology instruction the author pays his attention to describe the scientific inquiry process of the discovery and proof of some milestone events or theories in microbiologic fields to help students establish a sense of innovation. The author also shows his own scientific research results as teaching examples to students in his instruction, and emphasizes to test the students' ability to solve practical problems in the examination of students.
