    摘要:

    当前,以理论传授和验证性实验为主导的微生物学教学模式难以适应新时代生物技术人才创新与实践能力的培养要求。本文探讨了合成生物学创新赛中的核心赛道——“细菌博弈赛”如何将细菌运动性、趋化系统、基因调控与代谢竞争等微生物学的核心知识转化为一项融合趣味性、挑战性与综合性的项目式学习体验。本文解析了该赛事的整体设计理念与微生物学基本原理的深度融合机制,阐述了细菌博弈赛作为项目式学习平台在培养学生自主学习、锻造工程化思维、提升科研韧性以及强化团队协作等方面的显著推动作用。研究主张,微生物学教学应将思维主权交还学生,培养其成为积极的思考者和问题解决者。本研究为合成生物学背景下的微生物学教学改革提供了可复制、可推广的实践范式,并为跨学科新质人才的培养贡献了新思路。

    Abstract:

    The current teaching model of Microbiology, which focuses primarily on theoretical instruction and confirmatory experiments, is unable to meet the growing demand for cultivating innovative and practical competencies among biotechnology talents in the new era. This study explores how Bacterial Gladiator, a core track of the Synthetic Biology Challenges, transforms key microbiological concepts, such as bacterial motility, chemotaxis systems, gene regulation, and metabolic competition, into an engaging, challenging, and comprehensive project-based learning (PBL) experience. We analyze how the competition’s design principles are deeply integrated with fundamental microbiological mechanisms. We also demonstrate the effectiveness of Bacterial Gladiator as a PBL platform in fostering students’ autonomous learning, engineering thinking, scientific resilience, and collaborative skills. Furthermore, we advocate for a pedagogical shift in Microbiology that places cognitive agency in the hands of students, empowering them to become proactive thinkers and skilled problem-solvers. This study offers a replicable and scalable framework for Microbiology teaching reform in the background of synthetic biology, while providing new insights into the cultivation of interdisciplinary new-quality talents.
